Strange Brewed Awakening

ACME Studio, 63 N orth3rd St between Kent and Wythe Aves, Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Pair films with food at BBQ Films, a roving pop-up movie theater that changes themes each month. The next screening features cultish ’80s comedy Strange Brew. While the protagonists (played by Dave Thomas and Rick Moranis) take down an evil brewmeister, snack on gourmet doughnuts and popcorn, washed down with special Sam Adams suds such as Norse Legend (food and drink included with admission). During intermission, TONY contributor and Brewed Awakening author Joshua Bernstein will discuss the craft-beer revolution.
