Duane Reade has been stocking candy canes since late October, but the holiday season doesn't officially get going in New York until Santa closes out the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. With everyone looking to blow off steam before the year's most stressful—er, festive!—month, Thanksgiving Eve has become something of a major party night in NYC. Whitney Day's aptly titled annual Eve throwdown at the Park is one of the more popular LGBT options—which is no surprise given the cute, party-ready crowd Ms. Day always manages to attract.
