The queen: “Showbiz spitfire” Paige Turner burst on the NYC scene a couple of years ago, and quickly became a fixture of NYC nightlife, hosting and performing at a wide variety of events in Hell’s Kitchen and beyond.

The Throne: Vinyl. This campy comfort-food haven takes its music theme to the furthest extreme in its restrooms—each is a shrine to a different musician (in this case, Dolly Parton).

Time Out New York: Do you have any advice for the woman who is arguably the world’s most famous queen on the occasion of her Diamond Jubilee?
Paige Turner: Shady Pines called—your room is available! Now move over!

Got any good bathroom stories from your adventures in nightlife?
Just this: No matter how angry you get at someone, do not flush their purse down the toilet—shit stinks!

What are you proud of this June?
I am proud to be able to get people naked at least once a week at my shows—oh, and that Obama has finally acknowledged that gays like it up the butt.

More Paige Turner!
Check out Slurp! Sundays at 10:30pm at Vlada; Paige Turner’s Playhouse, Thursdays at 10:30pm at Stonewall; and 20something, Thursdays at 10pm at XL. Her talent competition, So You Think You Can Drag, will soon enter its third season at New World Stages.
