Time Out says

This hybrid boutique and salon is the sixth NYC locale for the Art of Shaving, a men’s grooming line founded in 1995 by husband-and-wife team Eric Malka and Myriam Zaoui. The focus of the store is its four-step shaving system, which consists of preshave oil ($22), frothy glycerin-based shaving cream ($22), the shave itself and cooling aftershave balm ($38). The in-store selection of razors includes safety styles ($40–$200), DOVO and Thiers-Issard straight razors ($45–$260), and souped-up multiblade systems that use Gillette blades ($80–$175). Like the original Lexington Avenue location, this shop features a barber-spa located in its own two-chair room in the back. The skilled staffers offer standard treatments like haircuts ($40) and traditional shaves ($35), but if it’s pampering you crave, opt for the 45-minute royal shave ($55), which expands on the four-step process with relaxation-inducing hot towels soaked in aromatic lemon essence, and the application of the Art of Shaving’s purifying rose clay aftershave mask ($50) and rosewater-based toner ($18).
