Time Out says

The Lower East Side is rife with salons, but Victoria’s Hair Secret has a couple of things going for it: In addition to its cheeky name, this no-frills spot is completely pretension-free, plus totally affordable. The space—with just two chairs, one hair-washing station and bright-pink, unadorned walls—may be small and sparse, but it’s a one-stop shop for your hair and makeup styling needs. Victoria Abramov, the 23-year-old Israeli owner, spent five years at NYC’s Jean Paul Hair Salon perfecting her edgy cuts and unique coloring skills before branching out on her own. Here, you can get a cut ($45 for women, $25 for men) or color ($55 for single-process, $85 for double-process, $85 for a half-head of highlights) for much less than the neighborhood’s going rate. Abramov also offers styling ($30 for a blowout, $65 for an up-do), makeup ($45) and extensions ($200–$700).
