The Ramada is the most centrally located of the six properties, just off Interstate 278 and a 10-minute walk from the College of Staten Island. Like all Ramadas, this is a no frills, budget hotel. Its 67 rooms, while “traditional” in decor, are reasonably well-appointed, featuring mini fridges, coffeemakers, flat-screen TVs and free WiFi. Some upgraded rooms even boast whirlpool tubs. In common with the other budget offerings, the list of freebies is impressive: parking (including large vehicles), newspapers, WiFi and continental breakfast. There is also an exercise facility and health club to rectify any early morning croissant indulgence.
