Nestled among the tattoo parlors, cheap eateries and souvenir shops of St Marks Place, this small hotel received a much needed face-lift in 2007; its modest rooms, which have double beds and private baths, are now bright, clean and understated (if somewhat bland) and offer Wi-Fi (fee) and flat-screen TVs. Note that the hotel is in a prewar building with no elevators. Rooms 64.
