Museum of Chinese in America (MOCA)

Time Out says

MOCA occupies an airy former machine shop designed by prominent Chinese-American architect Maya Lin. Founded in 1980, the museum illustrates the history of lives of Chinese within America. It is both a cultural and educational space that celebrates the great culture of the US. There are an array of exhibtion areas that tell the story of the Chinese immigrants who now call the United States home. There are over 85,000 artifacts, photographs, printed materials, textiles and oral histories. Sadly, the space can't show all of these so MOCA highlights select pieces from the collection.
