Cult Bushwick drinkery Goodbye Blue Monday is completely given over to eccentricity, a sort of twinkling junk-shop-cum-café-cum-bar; so it’s hardly surprising that its supposed “book club” is actually a musicians’ gathering (each month, its founder chooses a book and invites artists to make a songs inspired by that text). There’s free music every night, generally antifolk and experimental jazz.
