This Ohio tribute band began impersonating the Beatles way back in 1984, two decades after their protoplasts sold out Carnegie Hall. Now, a full nostalgia cycle later, the four latter-day mop tops are headlining Carnegie Hall themselves. The presence of a tribute act in the hallowed venue may seem as sacrilegious today as did a rock band playing the space almost 50 years ago, when the Beatles were snuck in under the guise of a string quartet.
