29th Annual Roots of American Music Festival

Lincoln Center Out of Doors. This jam-packed all-day affair sprawls all over the Lincoln Center campus. Highlights include a Laura Nyro tribute on Sat 11 at 6pm, a set by gospel-soul singer Otis Clay that evening at 8:45pm, and a powerhouse Sun 12 lineup that runs from Taylor Mac at 3pm to a starry Gil Scott-Heron salute at 8:15pm.
