40Twenty + Jesse Stacken Quartet + Gingerbred

Trombonist Jacob Garchik, pianist Jacob Sacks and drummer Vinnie Sperrazza—collectively known as 40Twenty—support a quietly commanding 2012 self-titled CD. Helping to set the stage are the sometimes turbulent, sometimes placid pianist Jesse Stacken—heading up a quartet with saxist Tony Malaby, bassist Sean Conly and drummer Tom Rainey—and the collective quartet Gingerbred.
