A Night in Treme: The Musical Majesty of New Orleans with the Donald Harrison Quintet

Alto saxophonist Donald Harrison cut his teeth as a member of Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers and found his fame in a tight combo with trumpeter Terence Blanchard; in recent years he's turned his attention to exploring the myriad strands of New Orleans' musical heritage. This week Harrison's band mingles with Mardi Gras Indians and a special guest from NOLA's first family of R&B, Cyril Neville.
