A Night of Improvised Round Robin Duets

Last year's Round Robin Duets gig at Brooklyn Masonic Temple wasn't without its awkward moments, but the highlights were dazzling enough to make one wish that copresenters Red Bull Music Academy and Undead Music would make the gig an annual event. And it looks as though they may be doing just that: On hand for tonight's sequel, in which participants take the stage one after another for impromptu duo minisets, are heavy players from the worlds of jazz, electronica, indie rock and beyond. We can't wait to see how Kaki King, David Murray, Allen Toussaint, Marc Ribot, Daedalus, Petra Haden, Nels Cline and others fare in this improvisational pressure cooker.
