CareFusion Jazz Festival. On doctor's orders, ebullient tenor saxophonist James Moody is sitting out this starry salute. Still, Paquito D'Rivera and Jimmy Heath have the sax-playing covered, trumpeter Randy Brecker and singer Roberta Gambarini provide bright chops and the backing band (pianist Renee Rosnes, bassist Todd Coolman and drummer Adam Nussbaum) is worth hearing all by itself.
