Afternoon Delight

Pete's brings back its Saturday series. Swing by and settle in for an afternoon of sweet indie-folk sounds from local talent. Today's session features excellent Brooklyn bluegrass trio Free Advice; the band is a rollicking good time live, and its rough-voiced singer, Travis Stewart, has a rare gift for writing classic-sounding songs (check out "Maine" on the band's MySpace page for evidence). Lo-fi troubadour Richard Aufrichtig (the Lost Shores) opens.
