Akiko Yano and Marc Ribot

One of Japan's most beloved performers, Akiko Yano is a pop singer-pianist who has extraordinary jazz chops on reserve. Akiko, a 2007 LP produced by T Bone Burnett, brought versatile guitarist Marc Ribot into Yano's orbit, and the two have been fast musical friends ever since.
