Al MacDowell's Just Ornette Quartet

Longtime Ornette Coleman sideman Al MacDowell heads a two-bass band—patterned after Coleman's current working unit—featuring himself on piccolo bass and Tony Falanga on the conventional upright. Drummer Tony Lewis and saxist Jay Rodriguez round out the group, and given the billing, we expect a set list heavy with O.C. favorites.
