Alash

Alash is a young group of Tuvan xoomeizhi (throat singers) and instrumentalists, mentored by one of the best-known figures of that genre, Kongar-ool Ondar (seen in the documentary Genghis Blues). The highly skilled group offers an authentic glimpse into the style's signature yodeling dynamics and rustic clip-clop rhythms.
