Thus far, London's Alex Clare has had a career full of stops and starts. For much of the aughts, he knocked around in various bands, garnering some tabloid-column inches as Amy Winehouse's former squeeze, before striking a major deal in 2011 and hooking up with Diplo and Switch. The result was the dance-anchored soul album The Lateness of the Hour. Tonight he tours behind its follow-up, Three Hearts, which took a while to surface, finally coming out in August.
