Allen Lowe and the New Creole Orchestra

Saxist, guitarist and historical-minded downtowner Allen Lowe helms a star-studded ensemble that surveys various forms of the blues, from Baptist meetings to Beefheart. Lowe's New Creole Orchestra features trombone master Roswell Rudd, and also includes Ray Anderson, Randy Sandke, Darius Jones, Lewis Porter, Ray Suhy, Jessie Hautala and Jake Millett.
