Alvin Youngblood Hart

For more than a decade now, Alvin Youngblood Hart has taken it upon himself to reclaim all kinds of terrain for blues audiences, ranging from Beefheartian abstraction to Western swing. Instead of rustic authenticity, his live band embodies what George Clinton used to think of as "once upon a time called right now." At the Allen Room he'll spin acoustic blues with Phil Wiggins and Corey Harris.
