Amkoullel is a pretty big deal in Mali, where he hosts an American Idol–like variety show, and is widely considered one of the country's most popular musicians. He doesn't rap in English, but he sounds like a pretty interesting dude, and his songs, like "Farafina," have some pretty anthemic hooks.
