Anat Cohen Invitation Series

Among the things that have helped the Jazz Standard earn its reputation as the city's most progressive major jazz club is a willingness to let noteworthy leaders tangle with multiple dance partners during the course of a run. Here, in an offering presented under the banner of the club's tenth anniversary, versatile reedist Anat Cohen performs alongside guitarists Romero Lubambo (Thu 26) and Howard Alden (Fri 27), the Anzic Orchestra (Sat 28) and pianist Fred Hersch (Sun 29).
