Barry Chabala, Dominic Lash and Ben Owen

The start of a new month brings a new label-curated two-week series, this one programmed by Jon Abbey of seminal electroacoustic-improv imprint Erstwhile Records. Titled "AMPLIFY 2011: stones," the series begins with two sets of spacious, rarefied sounds by Wandelweiser collective composers Antoine Beuger and Michael Pisaro, played by guitarist Barry Chabala, bassist Dominic Lash and electronic musician Ben Owen.
