Ben Watt and His Band

Time Out says

Ben Watt’s solo career took a three-decade detour between North Marine Drive, his 1983 debut, and its follow-up, Hendra, which arrived in 2014. What kept him busy all that time? His restlessly reinventive pop with Tracey Thorn in Everything but the Girl, for one thing, and his work as in-demand DJ running the deep house club Lazy Dog. The wait for his third album, Fever Dream—which he just released—has been considerably shorter, and it follows up where Hendra left off: sturdy, simple, guitar-driven tracks, inspired by classic singer-songwriters like David Crosby and Neil Young.
