Big Farm + janus

A most appealing postclassical bill brings together Big Farm—a proggy supergroup featuring composer Steven Mackey on electric guitar, director-conceptualist Rinde Eckert on vocals, So Percussion's Jason Treuting on drums and bassist Mark Haanstra—with janus, the trio of flutist Amanda Baker, violist Beth Meyers and harpist Nuiko Wadden. The latter group is celebrating the release of I am not, a beguiling new CD on the New Amsterdam label.
