Big Grams (Big Boi + Phantogram)

Within the recent glut of atmospheric synth-pop acts, New York duo Phantogram's hypnotically sensual dance-rock has stood out due to its intimacy to the hip-hop sphere (the twosome have performed with Action Bronson and listed Dilla, The Roots and Busta Rhymes as major influences). So it actually makes sense that rap legend Big Boi took such an immediate liking to the crew that he joined up with them for a collaborative EP, Big Grams. They perform as a trio for the first time here at Irving Plaza.
