Big Sexy Noise + Thurston Moore and John Moloney

After playing a retrospective gig in Brooklyn last month, Lydia Lunch, No Wave's confrontational high priestess, hits Bowery Electric as part of Big Sexy Noise, a sludgy, skronky and sardonic group that teams her with the members of noirish London punk outfit Gallon Drunk. Also on the bill is former (and future?) Sonic Youth singer and guitarist, Ecstatic Peace cocaptain, underground booster and so-much-more man Thurston Moore, who teams up with John Moloney (they also dabble together in the band Chelsea Light Moving) to play from their wildly raucous noise-core record, Caught on Tape, which was recorded on tour in Europe earlier this year.
