Billie Roe: 1978 NYC Underground

After a three-decade break from performing, Billie Roe returned to the cabaret stage last year to win the Met Room's 2012 MetroStar Talent Challenge. Now she digs up her roots in a show devoted to the music of the late 1970s, with a special nod to the gravel-voiced troubadour Tom Waits.
