Black Francis

Black Francis fans know that while the Pixies will always rule, the man known for a time as Frank Black has turned out some equally impressive solo work. (We'd place his self-titled debut and its follow-up, Teenager of the Year, up there with any of the Pixies' discs.) Black Francis has issued some spotty material in the interim, but his new one, NonStopErotik, is sounding pretty powerful to us. The songsmith settles in at Joe's this week for three solo acoustic performances.
