Hip-hop PR and marketing company Audible Treats was responsible for one of the most banging showcases of CMJ 2009, and clearly means to score a repeat with this action-packed lineup. Headlined by ’90s Native Tongues combo Black Sheep (recently given a shot in the arm by a Kia ad featuring its single "The Choice Is Yours (Revisited)," the show also includes potent D.C. collective Diamond District and Tanya Morgan rapper-producer Von Pea, who's celebrating a new solo CD.
