Between a stormy Lollapalooza in Chicago last weekend (which had to be evacuated) and next weekend's Outside Lands fest in San Francisco, East London rockers Bloc Party metropolis-hopped back to the East Coast for a three-night run at Terminal 5 (Aug 7–9). The band took a music hiatus following the release of 2009's Intimacy, and is now gigging behind its upcoming album, Four (due Aug 21). Accordingly, last night's show featured spiky, romantic old favorites like "Helicopter" and "This Modern Love," alongside new singles, and it included not one but two encores. Photographer Virginia Rollison captured the sold-out performance on August 7.
