Blood Rose

Alto Kirsten Sollek and countertenor Eric Brenner weave their voices together magically in a rich, brooding new one-act opera by Hannah Lash based on the story of Beauty and the Beast. (Trust us, we've heard a bit of the piece and we know what we're talking about.) The JACK Quartet provides lush yet intimate accompaniment, and opens the program with two of Lash's quartets: Four Still and Frayed.
