Boris + Torche + Russian Circles

Japan's Boris continues to push its psychedelic boogie metal further and further over the top, yielding new levels of bombast and trippy majesty. Tonight the band—which is currently prepping BXI, a fine new EP featuring the vocal talents of the Cult's Ian Astbury—headlines a Blackened Music Series event that also includes the inimitable bubblegum-doom stylings of Torche and the metallic post-rock of Russian Circles.
