Bowerbirds + Death Vessel + Aimee Argote

Bowerbirds’ Phil Moore and Beth Tacular live together in an Airstream trailer in the North Carolina woods, and their music sounds exactly like the product of such an environment; last year's beautiful Upper Air album (Dead Oceans) was full of rustic swoon, and the band toured with like-minded souls Bon Iver. Up first is Death Vessel, whose handsome music is anchored by the slightly creepy falsetto of Joel Thibodeau.
