East Enders are treated to three carefully crafted programs this weekend. On Thu 4, Historical Firsts includes the first ever piano quartet (written by Mozart), the first ever nonet by Beethoven's contemporary Louis Spohr and contemporary composer Kenji Bunch's woodwind quintet Changes of Phase. Handel, Dvorak, Martinu and Poulenc provide the soundtrack for the Saturday Soirée, From Bohemia with Love. In the final program, Schubert and Beyond, Schubert's Adagio and Rondo Concertante in F is paired with Chausson's Piano Quartet in A major and Paul Moravec's 2010 Wind Quintet.
