Brooklyn Philharmonic

The newly retooled Brooklyn Philharmonic gears up for its first Russian-themed full-orchestra concert of the season with a teaser event in Brighton Beach celebrating the life and work of Soviet émigré writer Sergei Dovlatov through readings, photos and chamber music by Shostakovich and Prokofiev.
