Brooklyn Philharmonic

The reigning phil in Kings County starts its season with a free preview concert performed by a chamber ensemble led by music director Alan Pierson. The program consists entirely of new commissions by promising young Brooklyn composers, including Kendall Williams, Christopher Cerrone, Matt Marks, Tim Fite and Ted Hearne. There will also be a guest appearance by Pan Sonatas Steel Orchestra.
