Build + Empyrean Atlas

There, composer-fiddler Matt McBane's winsomely rootsy quintet Build will be showing off its latest sounds. Sharing the bill is Empyrean Atlas, headed by Philip Glass Ensemble saxophonist David Crowell; his writing for this new outfit combines Minimalist drive and Afropop shimmer—a bright, infectious mix.
