Bush Tetras are one of the stalwart bands of NYC's true postpunk era of the early ’80s, so we couldn't help but feel excited by the prospect of their second coming. Very Very Happy, their latest album, felt a bit unnecessary: a number of old songs rerecorded (including the always fresh "Too Many Creeps" and "Das Ah Riot"), plus a few forgettable new tunes. Nevertheless, if the band brings all its unique old elements—especially Pat Place's stabbing guitar—you'll hear no more complaints from this corner.
