A heavy-duty blues ’n’ boogie band from the early ’70s, Cactus featured the rhythm section of the Vanilla Fudge (Tim Bogert and Carmine Appice), along with Detroit Wheels guitarist Jim McCarty and Amboy Dukes singer Rusty Day.
