Young Cuban pianist David Virelles is the keyboardist on everyone's hot list now, as anyone who's heard him with Steve Coleman, Mark Turner, Jane Bunnett and other prominent leaders can attest; here he works with percussion shaman Andrew Cyrille at 8pm. Trumpeter and maqam vocalist Amir ElSaffar follows at 10pm, working with singer Jen Shyu, guitarist Liberty Ellman and drummer Tomas Fujiwara.
