Cape Verde to Brooklyn: Fantcha

World Music Institute's new Brooklyn series continues with a hometown girl who also happens to be a leading Cape Verdean morna singer embraced as a protégé by the queen herself, Césaria Évora. The concert will be followed by an after-party; plan on making an evening of it.
