Carmen Cusack

Cusack's miraculous range let her play roles as disparate as Elphaba in Wicked, Christine in The Phantom of the Opera and Nellie in South Pacific before making a wonderful Broadway debut in 2016's Bright Star and taking on the Ethel Merman role in the 2019 Encores! staging of Call Me Madam. We look forward to seeing what she does next—which, based on her history, could be anything. In her new show at F/54, she sings tunes made popular by female pop stars in her youth, including Donna Summer, Dolly Parton, Dionne Warwick, Crystal Gayle, Nina Simone, Karen Carpenter, Linda Ronstadt and Dusty Springfield. Guest vocalists include Paul Alexander Nolan, Ben Davis and Randy Rainbow.
