Brooklyn electropop duo Chairlift, an iPod nano–spawned success story, headlines this Hurricane Sandy benefit show, continuing to show off its far superior second record, Something. Released at the top of the year, it's an album that luxuriates in vintage-synth textures and a newfound confidence. Also contributing tonight is Twin Sister, with its dreamy synth beats and Cocteau Twins–esque vocals, plus Brooklyn's sparkling synth-pop new wavers Slowdance, fronted by the magnetic Quay Quinn-Settel.
