Chance the Rapper rose to fame as an independent artist, claiming recognition from his second album Acid Rap, and continued to grow through his third record release, Coloring Book. At the 2016 Grammys, Coloring Book won best rap album, its single “No Problem” won best performance and Chance won best new artist.
