Julia Shapiro of Chastity Belt, Bree McKenna of Tacocat and Stacy Peck of Pony Time join forces in Seattle's DIY supergroup Childbirth, a band famous for its pointed humor and serrated punk riffage (see 2014's "I Only Fucked You as a Joke"). Aye Nako offers up a comparably sharp voice—vocally anti-racist and anti-capitalist—punching up with tinges of pop-punk at the indie scene's overwhelming whiteness ("White Noise").
