The Wild Honey Pie Beehive

CMJ. Australian garage-rock storyteller Courtney Barnett was the breakout from last year’s CMJ. And it’s within the realm of possibility that the class of 2015’s king could be the similarly compelling Aussie songwriter Fraser A. Gorman on Barnett’s Milk! Records. His traverses country, folk and Americana-tinged rock, all with a sweet wryness. Also on the rather large bill for this showcase is Phony Ppl, ukuleleist Dent May, shoegazers Lazyeyes, The Britanys, local druglords Acid Dad, Frankie Cosmos, Stone Cold Fox, Sam Cohen, Piers​and Corbu.
