Company of Heaven Jazz Festival

Jazz PR outfit Company of Heaven shows off its diverse roster at this promising two-night fest. Tonight's bill features guitarist Michael Musillami's trio (11pm); vocalist Theo Bleckmann, keyboardist Gary Versace and percussionist John Hollenbeck's Refuge Trio (9:45pm); and saxist Matt Darriau's Duke Ellington tribute project Ballin' the Jack (8:30pm). The Sat 8 program spotlights bassist Mario Pavone's Totem Quartet (11pm), vocalist Jay Clayton's trio (9:45pm), and the always-provocative duo of saxist Jon Irabagon and drummer Mike Pride (8:30pm).
